With over twenty-five years of experience as a professional actor and writer, Terri Hawkes has lent her voice to an impressive array of popular animated characters, including Toast in Netflix’s Bee and Puppycat, Franny in Quads!, Sissi in Princess Sissi, Bianca in Beverly Hills Teen, Baby Hugs and Shreeky in Care Bears, and Lydia Lopez in Flying Rhino Junior High, which she also voice directed.
Her onscreen work is every bit as impressive, with major credits on General Hospital, Traders, and Beverly Hills 90210, while her role as Headmistress Hein in the acclaimed web series Lady Ada’s Secret Society recently earned her a Best Supporting Actress Award (LA Webfest).
But it is her portrayal of Sailor Moon/Serena in the original North American dub of Sailor Moon (Seasons I and II) that has propelled her popularity sky high and endeared her to generations of Sailor Moon fans. The impact of her performance resonates to this day – and the enthusiasm she generates at Animé and Comic Cons alike shows just how loyal the original Sailor Moon fan base really is. During the course of his lengthy career, Ron Rubin has definitely earned his reputation as one of the busiest animation voice actors in the country.
There were many highlights along the way, but working with the iconic Stan Lee on the original X-Men series (as Morph) and Avengers (as Vision) were two standouts. He’s currently voicing President Kelly in X-Men ’97. Another standout was his work on the Emmy Award-winning Beetlejuice, in which he created the characters of Doom Buggy and Flubbo. His amazing versatility is evident when you look at his list of credits: C.O.P.S. (Dr. Badvibes), Police Academy (Lt. Mahoney), Donkey Kong Country (Kaptain Skurvy), Angela Anaconda (Uncle Nicky), Stickin’ Around (Mr. Lederhosen) SideKick (Master XOX) and The Care Bears Movie (Messy Bear), to name a few.
Ron has also been a dominant force in the world of Animé (Bakugan and Beyblade) but he’s probably best known for originating the voice of Artemis in Sailor Moon, a role he performed for the entire run of the North American series. Inquire for Booking
For the past 50 years, veteran actor Jill Frappier has delighted audiences in theatres across the country, including the prestigious Shaw and Stratford Festivals. An incredibly versatile performer, Jill has appeared in countless popular TV shows such as Schitt’s Creek, Kim’s Convenience, Mary Kills People and Hudson & Rex, and found the perfect vehicle to showcase her comedic talents in the cult classic Strange Brew.
But Jill admits that she is just as passionate about voice work and the creative freedom it has given her. Her animation roles include Miss Prysellius in Pippi Longstocking, Fifi in Hello Kitty, Keroppi the frog in Keroppi – and she became a fan favorite in her role as Disraeli’s wife, Mary Anne, in the hugely popular video game Assassins Creed Syndicate.
But Jill’s favourite role by far is that of Luna, the guardian cat in Sailor Moon, partly because she has a special affinity for cats – but mainly because she so admires Luna’s endless positivity and feisty spirit. Inquire for Booking
For Susan Roman, being part of the wacky, wonderful world of animation for most of her adult life has been a dream come true. Along the way, she worked on projects that have since become mainstream classics, voicing Champ Bear in the original Care Bears series, Melissa Raccoon in The Raccoons, Sara Lynn and Eddie in Fisher-Price Little People, the Berry Princess in Strawberry Shortcake and Tika in Barbie as the Island Princess. Her animé credits included Judy Tate in Beyblade and Akira in Bakugan and, as Snowy, the little white dog, she barked her way through a TV series that has become an international fan favorite: The Adventures of TinTin.
In what turned out to be a huge departure from children’s animation, she was cast as Angel, the speaking voice of Debbie Harry, in the ground-breaking film Rock & Rule, and in yet another cult classic, Columbia Picture’s Heavy Metal, she played ‘the Girl’ in the Harry Canyon sequence.
Susan is probably best known as the voice of Sailor Jupiter/Lita in the original North American dub of Sailor Moon. Inquire for Booking
